ALEXANDER SYLTE
CREATIVE DIRECTOR & PHOTOGRAPHER
FOUNDER OF SYLTE STUDIOS
Our methodology synthesizes strategic insight with artistic sensibility. Each collaboration is approached with careful consideration—whether crafting visual identities, digital environments, or photographic narratives. The result: work that commands presence while maintaining aesthetic sophistication.
Drawing from our heritage in fashion, art, and cultural spaces, we produce considered imagery and design work across editorial, campaign, and commercial contexts. Our lens-based practice spans fashion, portrait and editorial photography—each frame composed with intention.
The studio maintains a curated network of creative collaborators—art directors, developers, and photo production specialists whose distinctive voices complement our vision while upholding exacting standards. This deliberate approach ensures work that feels both cohesive and culturally relevant.
While our practice is anchored in Oslo, our perspective and reach extend across Scandinavia and Europe. We adapt our methodology to each client's unique context while maintaining our characteristic refined aesthetic.
Situated in Hausmanns gate 6, our atelier inhabits a considered volume at the intersection of Oslo's cultural currents. The space articulates our methodology—a measured dialogue between artistic vision and technical excellence.
The studio comprises two distinct environments: a refined photographic space equipped for fashion and portrait commissions, featuring precise capture capabilities, adjoined by an intimate creative suite. Nordic materiality meets industrial architecture through a thoughtful composition of concrete, lime-washed surfaces, and curated design elements. Each detail has been orchestrated to enable both creative development and precise execution.
Access: Tram lines 11, 12, 17, 18 (Nybrua), bus service (Hausmanns bru, Jakob kirke). Walking distance from Grønland, Jernbanetorget, Oslo Central. Private parking on premises. Full production support with courtyard access and industrial elevator.
