Sylte Studios is an Oslo-based practice led by Alexander Sylte. We unite creative direction, design, and photography. Drawing from extensive industry experience, we craft refined visual narratives that bridge brand identity, design, digital spaces, and photo production—always with intention and artistic integrity.
ALEXANDER SYLTE
CREATIVE DIRECTOR & PHOTOGRAPHER
FOUNDER OF SYLTE STUDIOS
At Sylte Studios, we blend creative direction with considered design and photography to shape visual stories that resonate naturally. Our approach focuses on developing brand identities that stay true to their essence—whether through thoughtful design, digital experiences, or visual content that commands attention effortlessly.
Drawing on our experience in media, design, fashion, and cultural spaces, we create editorial work, campaigns, lookbooks, e-commerce photography, and portraits. Each project receives meticulous attention, striking the perfect balance between aesthetic refinement and practical purpose.
We collaborate with a carefully selected network of specialists who share our commitment to quality—visual artists, developers, and production experts who bring fresh perspectives while upholding exacting standards. This collaborative approach ensures our work feels both cohesive and authentic.
From our Oslo studio, we engage with both local and international projects. While our Nordic roots run deep, our reach extends across Norway and Europe as we adapt our expertise to each brand's unique story.
If you're curious about working together, we'd love to discuss how we might contribute to your brand's journey.
We’re located in Hausmanns gate 6, thoughtfully positioned in Oslo's most vibrant neighborhood - bridging the urban energy of Youngstorget and the creative character of Grünerløkka
The space reflects our commitment to purposeful design and photography work — a thoughtful balance of function and form where creative work naturally unfolds. Two distinct areas define the studio: a minimalist white photo space and a design room featuring clean Nordic elements, industrial concrete floors, and tactile lime-washed walls. Each detail has been considered to create an environment that's both efficient and welcoming.
We're easily accessible by tram (lines 11, 12, 17, 18) at Nybrua stop, or via nearby bus stops at Hausmanns bru and Jakob kirke. We're within walking distance from stations like Grønland, Jernbanetorget, and Oslo Central. Parking is available behind the building and in Chr. Kroghsgate garages. For production teams, we offer courtyard access and a freight elevator.
