Sylte Studios is an independent studio in Oslo, founded in 2018 by Alexander Sylte. It works across visual identity, photography and digital experiences for clients who see visual expression as an integral part of their product, with projects across Europe.

The studio has three connected practices: creative direction, photography and design. Alexander sets the visual direction, photographs campaigns, editorial content and e-commerce, and designs identities, websites and editorial work. Each can be commissioned on its own.
A growing part of the design work is the framework a brand's own team works inside: a Shopify or CMS structure built to hold the brand's shape, content templates, and guidelines set into the system itself, not a document nobody opens. Alexander stays involved afterwards, reviewing and directing as the brand develops.
The clients share a sensibility more than an industry. They are brands, artists and institutions across fashion, design, art and culture, with a strong product or practice, clear thinking and the patience to build a distinct position over time. The work starts from different places: a debut that needs an identity built from nothing, a brand that has grown unevenly across channels, a team ready for its next stage.
Alexander has worked in the industry since 1999, across creative direction, design and photography, and has led design, digital and editorial teams. What that experience gives is judgement about what a project needs, whether a focused refinement or a full rebuild.
The studio is small by choice. Alexander is involved from the first conversation to final delivery, whether he leads the project or joins an established team, with specialists brought in when the work calls for them.
